European adventure

Alison Pickard an SMND RAG member ventures around Europe and is raising money for MND charities at the same time. She notes ‘We will be covering over 4,000 miles travelling through 8 countries and visiting at least 30 towns and cities.

We will be travelling by car towing our newly aquired caravan. We are not experienced caravanners but we hope to be by the time we return home!’ Alison and her husband had always planned to do this when they retired. Alison’ s diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease dictated that they expedite their plans. It seemed a logical progression to raise funds for the charities who are already giving them caring and invaluable support.
